Got a few updates, but first a quick correction - Picocon is obviously going to be held on 7th February 2004 NOT 2003 as I have put all over this website!

Now the news youve all been waiting for - Tour Dates! Some provisional dates have been arranged for February - check out the Tour Dates page for further details. I will update these with times, etc as I receive the info.

Another piece of news regards a new short story by Peter. PS Publishing (who published Watching Trees Grow) are bringing out a new quarterly magazine. Peter has a new short story called Footvote appearing in the first edition, and the cover of the first magazine will be an illustration based on this short story. Peter will be attending Picocon, an SF Convention organised by the Imperial College SF Society each year. This will be held on 7th February 2004. More details can be found at http://www.icsf.org.uk/picocon.html

At the moment, they plan to interview Peter, following which there will be a Q&A. He'll also be participating in a panel discussion, the topic of which is still undecided.

The first site update for a long long time. I (Martin) hold my hands up and apologise for this. Since I first started this site, my life sort of changed and priorities, etc changed. Hopefully this update is the first step on getting back on track to regular updates. There is still a bit of work to catch up on (some details on the bibliography page, etc), but I am working on it.

If anybody has any ideas for new content to the website, please email me at the address below (please make the subject of the email obvious otherwise it might get deleted among the masses of spam I receive!!). Any other comments regarding the website are also welcome.

A couple of bits of news worth mentioning:

Firstly, Pandora's Star, Peter's next book, is due to be published in the UK during February. Not sure of the exact date, but it may be the 20th. The US publication date is around easter. As a bit of a teaser, you can take a peak at the original cover art and the read the prologue from the book. When I get more info (eg. tour dates, etc) I will make sure they are published on this website.

Secondly, a big congratulations to Peter and his wife who is expecting their first child.
